When Carol's nine-year-old daughter Lauren was killed in an accident in 1999 she had no idea that her life would change so completely in the aftermath of tragedy. Much to her surprise, she became an author and straight-from-the-heart storyteller. Her two books, Shared Moments: Finding the Spirit of Hope (2007) and More Shared Moments: Creating a Life of Joy (2009) contain uplifting, thought provoking messages dedicated to finding meaning in life's troubling passages.
Carol has a strong background in science having earned a Bachelor of Science degree, in food and nutrition, from
Carol is a sought after public speaker and pursues local philanthropic work. In her spare time she offers fitness, yoga and meditation sessions upon request and enjoys life with her husband, Tony, two daughters, Kimberly and Jia Lin, two energetic Portuguese Water Dogs and huggable Ragdoll cat.
