That is the purpose of "My Blog Space". From time to time I will add a story detailing a moment that created hope or brought joy into my life.

Anyone is invited to share their own joyful story too. I would encourage you to do just that: share a story with others that is uplifting, hopeful and encouraging.

The Dalai Lama
This site offters nice quotes, thoughts and a slice of Buddhist wisdom mixed with humour. I had the privilege of seeing the Dalai Lama some years ago. I think of him as a cute little man who has a twinkle in his eye. His thoughts were simple and yet resonated with truth.

Marianne Williamson
Marianne's claim to fame is her interpretation of A Course in Miracles. I am paricularly drawn to her "Miracle Thought" podcasts. Scroll down on her website and listen to her words. Each podcast is short - approximately 5 minutes that can make your day.

Norman Vincent Peale
Dr. Peale's work spans the globe. What I love most about this site are the links to quotes from the greatest thinkers our planet has produced. From Aristotle and Lincoln to Shakespeare and Twain, you are guaranteed to pick up an enlightened thought or two.

Guideposts
A friend gave me a subscription to Christian oriented Guideposts magazine. The stories are short, inspiring and leave the reader with positive feelings about life, love and hope. Check out their feature articles entitled "Mysterious Ways" by scrolling down on this Guideposts web link. Although somewhat briefer than the stories I write, the Mysterious Ways stories are always the first thing I flip to when I receive a new magazine.
