As you can see from her pictures, Lauren was a lovely child. She was an easy baby, happy pre-schooler and smart, somewhat cunning little girl once she got to public school. Always popular at birthday parties and impromptu sleepovers, she had lots of friends. She loved her family, friends, dogs and other pets without reservation. In her short stay here, she had a very, very good life. The best actually.
As I said in ending my second book, "By her short life and untimely death the world has been left a kinder, gentler place. Indeed, what better epitaph could any of us hope for?"
